Midsumma Festival is Victoria’s annual celebration of queer, intersex, transgender, bisexual, lesbian and gay (LGBTQI+) people and culture. In conjunction with Thorne Harbour Health (formally known as the Victorian Aids Council), Midsumma has developed a platform to help bring forth awareness on LGBTQI+ health.
For the fifth year running, Channel 31 and Community Builder have provided live services to bring the Thorne Harbour Health Hypothetical to more eyes and ears than ever before. Straight from Federation Square, the Hypothetical is streamed to the Thorne Harbour Health Facebook page using the latest in live broadcast hardware and software. This livestream was also broadcast directly to C31 TV, and is still available to watch on demand on their Facebook page.
