Located in South Melbourne, Channel 31's studio is a broadcast-quality studio regularly used to produce live-to-air TV productions, and commercial shoots for politicians, small businesses and creative agencies.

Great for video and photography projects, our fully rigged studio allows for set pieces to be raised with ease, to help you get away from planning and into production faster.

Featuring a total of four high-definition cameras (with facilities to increase this number to five), a fully customisable lighting grid and a team of studio technicians by your side - A booking in the C31 studio is a booking with success.

The Channel 31 studio offers a 43m² space for any video production or photography work.

Minimum booking is 4 hours. 

Hirers who use the studio must employ a Channel 31 accredited studio technician, who will be assigned at the time of booking. The studio technician’s fees are below:.

8am to 7pm Monday to Friday $35.03 per hour
7pm to Midnight Monday to Friday $40.28 per hour
Saturdays 8am to 7pm $52.54 per hour
7pm to Midnight Saturdays $60.42 per hour
8am to 7pm Sundays $61.30 per hour
7pm to Midnight Sundays $70.49 per hour
Public Holidays $87.57 per hour

The C31 studio is not available to be hired between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday unless by special request. The studio is available to be booked from 5pm-Midnight Monday to Friday, and 8am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday.
